U.S. Navy Senior Chief Cryptologic Technician David Blake McLendon, 30, of Thomasville, Georgia, assigned to Naval Special Warfare Group 2 Support Activity in Norfolk, Virginia, was killed September 21, 2010, in a helicopter crash during combat operations in the Zabul province of Afghanistan.

    Blake: only 3rnds 28:30 had to go. 20″ box Jump 2 matts and a plate for HPU’s 45lb lunges.

    It took literally 5 minutes for my last set of HSPUs. So frustrating, need to get in the gym more and practice.

    Modified WOD inspired by Senior Chief Blake: 22:51 (#30 dumbbell lunges, Front Squat #45, 15 GHDs)

    No upper body for me for at least a full week. It’s been a month since I sprained my shoulder, and it should’ve been fully healed by now. Lesson learned: when your injured, don’t wait or delay time to recoop!

      Thanks, Big Sexy! 😀 But with your work ethic & motivation, I’m sure you’ll have HSPU before my shoulder heals! Besides, I sure need a lot of work on HSPUs myself! 😉
