Cherry Picker: (noun)

In CrossFit, someone who prefers to attend only the WODs that he/she likes and is good at. 
An example would be a CFer who loves strength wods, and therefore makes the effort to show up every 1RM Day.  However, when running is involved, this CFer will suddenly be MIA that day, because he/she hates running and is not very good at it.  

A Cherry Picker avoids any and all WODs that look too hard, too heavy, too long, and/or too difficult.   The origins of this term may come from the notion of “cherry picking” as attempting, or picking, only those things that are easily obtained, or only what suits your taste best, as a cherry might.

    Cherry pickers!! I AVOID OHS!!! As long as I can clean and jerk most females over my head I am happy…anything more would need OHS and I don’t need that in my life 😉
