    Trainer/Injury Prevention Specialist

    Education: St. Anselm College

Certifications: CrossFit Level 1 Registered Nurse CPR/First Aid BLS/ACLS

Notable Achievements: Athlete for All Seasons Award - Dartmouth High School

    Outside the Box:
Hey, I’m Justin, the man with many hats at CrossFit Dartmouth. I handle CFDs day to day business operations and member services. I also coach CrossFit classes and lead the High School and Collegiate Sports Specific Team Training Program. As a Registered Nurse, I am also an injury prevention specialist, stressing the importance of preventative maintenance, health and well-being and working with clients with specific injuries.

I instruct athletes of all ages and fitness levels in nutrition, fitness, and athletic conditioning. I believe building my students self-confidence up in the box translates into a confident person in life. It is my sincere desire to pass on my love for fitness to everyone I meet.

I have been an athlete my entire life. I received the “Athlete for All Seasons” Award at Dartmouth High School for playing a sport every season of each year of high school. I attended St. Anselm College where I played Division 2 Varsity football for 4 years. I started my collegiate football career as a 200 lb. speedy defensive end and ended it as a 320 lb immovable defensive nose guard.

Following college I was completely burnt out and took a hiatus from the gym and working out. This lasted a little too long…about 10 years! By that time, I knew every excuse in the book and used them when it came time to go to the gym. Then I was introduced to CrossFit. I immediately recognized CrossFit’s superiority at sustaining a high-level of physical performance while dealing with the stressors of life (For me it was Critical Care Nursing). I have never looked back! For me, CrossFit is a mentality, a way of life, not just a fitness regimen. It encompasses healthy eating, fitness and healthy living. It pushes you to be better you and has made me a better me.

    Favorite Foods:

    Favorite Feat:
My first unassisted pull-up after 3 months of CrossFit and starting with the biggest band ever created in history.
