So my wife and I recently finished up a “Paleo challenge” or as I prefer to call it a “Paleo reset” with a group of friends from Crossfit Dartmouth. It was something that couldn’t have come at a better time for me because I had clearly lost my way when it came to proper nutrition. We needed to take a month and be super strict to get back in the routine and it worked.
Although it was a friendly “contest” I feel like everyone who took part in this was a winner. We all won because we started to live a healthier lifestyle and you can’t lose when it comes to that. Thank you Kim and everyone at CFD for helping me and each other get healthier. Our performances increased, we felt cleaner and our brains clearer.
This was not a diet, I repeat NOT A DIET, it is a healthy lifestyle change that we try to maintain all year round. With that being said here are our stats for the month.
Combined Body Wt. % Lost
Kim and Roger – 9.399 %
Combined Inches Lost
Kim and Roger – 12″ (most of those lost were by Kim)
I personally lost about 11 pounds, 2 inches in my waist.
Arms stayed the same and gained a half inch in the thighs.
